μ0 = 4π x 10-7
I = 5
r = 30 cm = .3 m
B = 2 x 10-5
B = (μ0I) / (2πr)
I = 5
r = 30 cm = .3 m
B = 2 x 10-5
B = (μ0I) / (2πr)
(4π x 10-7)(5) / (2π)(0.3) = (20 x 10-7) / (0.6) = (10 x 10-7) / (0.3)
(2 x 10-5)(tan θ) = (10 x 10-7) / (0.3)
(2 x 10-5)(tan θ) = (10 x 10-7) / (0.3)
θ =
9.460
where does the 10 X 10^-7 come from... the constant number that I was told to use was 4.0 X 10^-7.
ReplyDeleteAlso where does the tan theta come into the equation also ? it isnt in the original equation that was put up.
Thanks,
this problem has been hard to solve for me because I haven't grasped the equations yet but i still can't follow it with this answer.
